Huffman appointed to fill vacant council seat
Shannon Huffman, a lifelong Elwood resident, was sworn in Monday afternoon to the Elwood City Council. Huffman fills the vacancy left following the passing of John Wright, who represented the council’s fourth district. Huffman was selected via a caucus of Democratic precinct committeemen.
