Kiwanis make donations
Recently, members of the Elwood Kiwanis Club presented Laura Groover of John Hinds Career Center with a $1,750 donation to help with classes and memberships. An additional $250 was donated to the woodworking class at the high school.

There were some notable changes for area teams when the Indiana High School Athletic Association announced 2026-27 and 2027-28 sectional assignments for fall sports in a press release on Tuesday.
