Kailebb Baumbauer and McKenzie Corbett were crowned Prom King and Queen last Saturday, May 3 at the Elwood Elks Lodge. The theme for this year’s dance was “The Great Gatsby.”

Baumbauer, a senior, is the son of Gregory and Breeanna Baumbauer. He has played varsity football all four years of high school, and is a two-year varsity cheerleader and track team member. He enjoys watching football, playing video games, working on his truck, and hanging out with his girlfriend. He is currently undecided on where he plans to further his education after graduation.

McKenzie Corbet is a senior at Elwood Jr Sr High School.  She is a member of National Student Council, National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, and the National Spanish Honor Society. Kenzie cheered for four years of high school and was on the varsity squad for three of those years. She plans to attend IU Bloomington to study psychology and work toward becoming a psychiatrist.
