ALEXANDRIA – Floyd R. Boucher, 88, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2023, at his daughter’s residence following an extended illness.
He was born Feb. 3, 1935, in Alexandria, to Guy and Bessie Pauline (Craig) Boucher.
Floyd had retired from RCA, formerly of Marion after 30 plus years of employment. He was a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Heber Springs, Ark. Survivors include five daughters, Bobbie Gaerting of Fort Myers, Fla., Kim Gebert of Warsaw, Lisa Crone of Chesterfield, Thersa Rowland of Alexandria and Stephanie Elkins of Montpelier; a step-daughter, Barbara Browning in Arkansas; step-son, Doug Evans of Arkansas; several grandchildren; several greatgrandchildren; a sster, Sue Wilson of Marion; and several nieces and nephews .
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Edna Delores Boucher, several brothers and sisters; and a granddaughter.
Visitation, service and interrment honoring Floyd’s life and legacy took place on Monday, Feb. 27, 2023, in the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Heber Springs, Ark.
Local arrangements were entrusted to Owens Funeral Home in Alexandria.
