FRANKTON – Scott A. Hildebrand, age 60, of Frankton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at his residence following a long battle with cancer.

He was born in Freeport, Ill., on May 10,1962, to Lyle and Alice (Johnson) Hildebrand.

On March 31, 2006, he married Mary (Howard) Hildebrand and they shared 17 years of marriage together.

Scott was employed at Navco . He attended the Florida Station Church of God.

Scott will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Scott is survived by his loving wife, Mary Hildebrand of Frankton; mother, Alice J. Hildebrand; children, Sean Reger, Corey Reger and Cortney Douglas; siblings, Lynn Hildebrand, Lisa Safran, Kevin Hildebrand and Troy Hildebrand; and 10 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and a special friend.

Scott was preceded in death by his father, Lyle C. Hildebrand and two daughters, Colleen Hildebrand and Brianne Hildebrand.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 21, 2023, from noon to 2 p.m., at Harper & Dunnichay Funeral Home, 305 E. Sigler St., in Frankton. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at the funeral home with the Rev. Jerry Hilligoss officiating.

Burial will follow in the K of P Cemetery in Frankton.
