1948-2023

Marcia L. Spradlin, age 75, of Anderson and formerly of Frankton, IN, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at her residence following an extended illness. She was born in Anderson, IN on April 1, 1948, to the late Charles and Vera (Starr) Swart.

Marcia retired in 2004, General Motors Guide Division after 32 years of service. She was a member of the UAW #663, and the Frankton Christian Church. She enjoyed listening to music and visiting with friends and family. She will be sadly missed by all.

Marcia is survived by sister, Melinda Murphy of Alpine, TN; daughter-in-law, Shannon Robinson; grandson, Cory Spradlin; granddaughter, Melissa Spradlin; nephew, Mark Murphy; special friend, Toni Campbell; and her pet cat Savannah.

Along with her parents Marcia was preceded in death by her son, Tod Spradlin.

A memorial service celebrating Marcia’s life will be Thursday, April 27, 2023, at 1 PM at Harper & Dunnichay Funeral Home, 305 Sigler St., Frankton, IN 46044, with Russell Brashear officiating. Visiting hour will be one hour prior to from 12 PM to 1 PM.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
