Elwood woman arrested after whipping boy over cereal

A 31-year-old woman from Elwood faces charges of domestic battery with injury, neglect of a dependent resulting in bodily injury, and unlawful possession of a legend drug stemming from an incident that occurred last week at her residence.According to a probable cause affidavit filed by Detective Ben Gosnell of the Elwood Police Department, Elwood officers responded to a home in the 200 block of South 18th Street on Tuesday, Feb.
