Dear Eric: My kiddo is hardworking, makes friends everywhere and is working on her third advanced degree. She is also working full time and volunteers at a shelter and her professional organization. She owns her house. My problem is her husband. He is not good enough for her.

Tipton resident Philip Bradley Nichols to lead East Central District of Indiana Elks Association

KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI — Thousands of members of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of the United States of America and guests have gathered in Kansas City, Missouri, from June 29 to July 2 for the BPO Elks National Convention. During the convention, Philip Bradley Nichols, of Tipton, was installed as District Deputy for the BPO Elks for lodges in the East Central District of the Indiana Elks Association, Inc. and will serve a one-year term.

Elwood native to lead program at Tipton County Public Library

This summer the Tipton Public Arts Commission, funded by the Indiana Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts, is sponsoring a visiting artist at the Tipton Public Library, the Tipton County Boys and Girls Club, and the Encore Lifestyle and Enrichment Center.
