SEASON ENDS IN SECTIONAL

FRANKTON — Mistakes led to missed opportunities which inevitably led to the Frankton High School football season coming to an end here last Friday night.The Eagles fell to Central Indiana Conference nemesis Eastbrook 28-3 in the opening round of Class 2A Sectional 36.

Frankton trio voted 1st team All-CIC

Frankton’s senior trio of Holli Klettheimer, Emma Sperry and Claire Duncan were voted to the All-Central Indiana Conference volleyball first team, while Elwood’s Breelyn Norris and Savannah Garcia earned honorable mention honors.The all-conference list was released on Tuesday.It was the fourth straight year Klettheimer made the first team.

Elwood’s Savage, Sneed voted All-CIC

A year of firsts ended with the first-ever All-Central Indiana Conference girls soccer team and it happened because of Elwood.When Elwood added girls soccer this fall, the CIC had enough teams to officially make girls soccer a conference sport.
