Elwood, Frankton put 3 players on All-CIC first team

Elwood and Frankton have established a tradition of success on the softball field and are perennial favorites to vie for the team championship in the tradition-rich Central Indiana Conference. So, it should come as no surprise the Panthers and Eagles each placed three players on the All-CIC first team.

Anderson man pronounced dead following single vehicle crash

The Indiana State Police responded to a report of a single vehicle crash on Saturday, June 17 that claimed the life of an Anderson man. According to a press release from the Indiana State Police, the report came at about 1:30 p.m.

The Indiana Department of Transportation contractor 3D Company announces closure for State Road 128 near Frankton. Beginning on or after Friday, June 30, crews will close State Road 128 in both directions between State Road 13 and State Road 9.

Frankton man sentenced to nine years following guilty plea

A 21-year-old Frankton man was sentenced to nine years in prison after pleading guilty to charges of rape and domestic battery. Gavin Carr was sentenced to a nine-year sentence with three years suspended last Wednesday in Madison Circuit Court Division 3.
