On Monday, the Indiana Occupational Safety and Health Administration (IOSHA) notified Madison County officials of five violations at the temporary morgue in the EMA facility. The violations were discovered after inspections conducted in October and mid-April.
Brooklyn Elizabeth Ritter, 25, of Elwood, was arrested Tuesday, April 25 for intimidation, domestic battery – deadly weapon and criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon. Carmen Julia Sparks, 33, of Alexandria, was arrested Tuesday, April 25 for operating a vehicle while intoxicated – endangerment and leaving the scene of a crash – property damage.
