Frankton places 5th, Elwood 7th in county tourney

Frankton placed fifth and Elwood seventh in last week’s Madison County baseball tournament. The Panthers got the short end of the deal by having to play four games in five days, while the Eagles had to play just three games in five days.

Armes’ 4 RBI lead Elwood past Alexandria

Hinds Career Center students to compete in Make 48 contest

Four Hinds Career Center students will compete in the Make 48 competition July 17 through July 21 at Purdue Polytechnic in Anderson. The contest is a 48-hour competition in which teams are presented with a challenge and tasked to build a physical prototype, create a sales sheet, and create a one-minute marketing video.
