Last week, student members of the Elwood Intermediate School Drama Club presented 'Witches Brew' by Kimberly Barger. It was an outstanding evening of witches, brooms, and coffee! For an extra perk, the club teamed with Lydia's Sweet Treats and Eats, which offered a specialty coffee free to the public. The production was directed by Bobbie Haas. On Monday, March 6, the Alexandria Police Department served a warrant for arrest of Elijah Brown at the 800 block of River Ave. Brown was taken into custody for the warrant for nine counts of Possession of Child Pornography Level 5 Felony. Elijah was also charged with possession of methamphetamine, Level 6 Felony. The Alexandria Police Department was assisted by the Madison County Sheriff’s Department K9 Unit.
