KNIGHTSTOWN — Tri-Central and Elwood varsity boys basketball fans were treated to an afternoon matinee at historic Hoosier Gym here last Saturday. The Trojans and Panthers did not disappoint their fans as the two teams put on an offensive show.

The whole show, over three hours long, will be visible across almost the entirety of North America, Central America, and most of South America.
SHERIDAN — The scoreboard at the end of last Friday’s Class 2A Sheridan Sectional semifinal contest did not have Elwood as the victor. But the Lady Panthers ended the 2024-25 season with a winning record, their first since the 2013-14 season.

SHERIDAN — Despite having a cold-shooting night, Frankton’s Lady Eagles were able to hang with the host Blackhawks in last Tuesday’s lass 2A Sectional first-round game for the first half. But the second half was a different story.
The Elwood Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) met last Thursday for a regular meeting at the Municipal Building.
Frankton has struggled to knock down shots from beyond the arc for most of the season. But the Eagles had no such problem last Friday night as they were 11 for 20 from beyond the arc to shoot past short-handed Elwood 53-24 at John Ward Gymnasium.
