MARION — Frankton’s Lady Eagles had three top 10 finishes on its way to a third-place finish in Saturday’s Central Indiana Conference Cross Country Invitational at Indiana Wesleyan University.Elwood’s Lady Panthers, led by Maddie Patton’s 28th-place finish, placed fifth as a team.

ELWOOD — Just like last year, Elwood and Frankton closed out the high school boys tennis regular season against each other and a couple of hours later learned they would face each other in the opening round of the sectional.The Eagles defeated the Panthers 5-0 here on Monday.
