Three arrested after traffic stop, search warrant

On Thursday, June 13 at approximately 1:38 a.m., Captain Tyler Irwin of the Elwood Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a silver 2013 Chevy Tahoe near South 16th and South L Streets for failing to come to a complete stop at a stop sign.When the vehicle stopped at South 18th and South L Streets, Captain Irwin approached the driver, identified as Nicholas Baker, 32, of Tipton, and his passenger, Haleigh Ann Schaffner, 34, of Elwood.
