Alexandria man charged with child molestation

An Alexandria man is facing charges of child molestation stemming from an incident alleged to have occurred in 2015 or 2016.According to a probable cause affidavit filed by Cody Anderson of the Madison County Sheriff’s Department, the Department of Child Services was notified in February of an incident alleged to have occurred sometime between 2015 and 2016 in the 1300 block of South Park Avenue.The affidavit states the allegations are that Terrance Brian Crawford, 57, sexually assaulted two children, ages six and nine at the time of the incident.One of the children stated that when she was between the ages of six and eight, Crawford would watch her and her sister while her parents would go on a date night.

GAS CITY — Frankton’s varsity softball team opened up Central Indiana Conference play with a 14-6 victory over Mississinewa here last Thursday.Senior Claire Duncan was a perfect 5 for 5 at the plate to lead the Eagles’ 13-hit attack.

Frankton tops Hawks, ends 2-game losing streak

SHERIDAN — Max Barr’s RBI double in the top of the seventh inning ignited Frankton to a 10-8 victory over Sheridan in Monday night’s varsity baseball game.Barr’s RBI double gave the visiting Eagles a 9-8 lead.
