Six compete for 4H Fair Queen crown

Pendleton - The Indiana State Police and other agencies across Indiana will be participating in the national Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over enforcement mobilization to educate motorists about the dangers and consequences of impaired driving. From June 30th to July 8th, officers will be increasing patrols to prevent tragedies previously seen around the July 4th holiday.

Whitson named Indiana Chamber Executive of the Year

The Madison County Chamber of Commerce (MCC) is thrilled to announce that President & CEO Clayton Whitson was named as the recipient of the prestigious Executive of the Year award by the Indiana Chamber Executives Association (ICEA) at their annual conference held in Terre Haute, Indiana on June 7-9. The MCC also received two Excellence in Innovation awards for their work in helping educate students on non-traditional career paths in the community and helping lawmakers understand the needs of specific businesses by providing in-depth facility tours.
