Memorial Day Parade, Presentation of Our Fallen Veterans Service draw large crowds

The annual Memorial Day Parade and Presentation of Our Fallen Veterans Service were held Monday, May 29. The parade, which featured floats from the VFW, Elwood Fire Department, Elwood Police Department, Pipe Creek Fire Department, and many more, kicked off the holiday in Elwood as hundreds lined the streets to enjoy the floats.

ECSC RETIRED EMPLOYEES

The Elwood Community School Corporation Retired Employees Picnic will be held Wednesday, June 14 at the shelter house at Callaway Park. Anyone who has been a part of the Elwood Community School Corporation in any capacity is welcome. Spouses and/or significant others are also invited. Bring a dish to share, and bring a drink. Set up begins at 11:30 a.m. and lunch will begin at Noon. Mark your calendar and help spread the word to our retiree friends who may have moved or live outside of town. Questions? ELWOOD CALL-LEADER OFFICE The offices for the Elwood Call-Leader, Tipton County Tribune, and the Alexandria Times-Tribune are located at 108 South Anderson Street in Elwood, inside the Elwood Chamber of Commerce building. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m.
