BZA approves demolitions

The Elwood Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) met Monday evening for a regular meeting. Present for the meeting were Vice Chair Debra Seres, Mark Crim, Roger Towner, Bob French, Building Commissioner Lisa Hobbs, Secretary Amy Noone-Smith and attorney Mike Farrer.

APRIL 23 — APRIL 29 1973 • Three Elwood-area individuals were killed in two accidents; the first of which occurred on Indiana 13 when a car driven by Junior Wolford, 33, of Swayzee, hit a motorcycle operated by Gary Haulk, 19. Haulk and his passenger Susan Stevens, 17, of Sweester.

Jacob Eugene Stansberry, 48, of Alexandria, was arrested Tuesday, April 18 for violation of continuum sanctions. Jeremiah Dan Deane, 40, of Elwood, was arrested Thursday, April 20 for invasion of privacy, resisting law enforcement, and a hold for Hamilton County.
