On My Way Pre-K applications for the 2023-2024 school year now available

INDIANAPOLIS– Following a record-setting year of enrollment for On My Way Pre-K, Indiana’s Office of Early Childhood and Outof- School Learning is now accepting applications for the 2023-2024 school year. On My Way Pre-K allows 4-yearolds from lower-income families to receive a free, highquality, prekindergarten education through Indiana’s only state-sponsored prekindergarten program. Indiana State Police targeting Indianapolis street racing events

INDIANAPOLIS — A national trend involving street racing, street take-overs and spinning has gotten the attention of the Indiana State Police and the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. Within the past year ISP and IMPD have conducted several special operations targeting these illegal activities resulting in more than 40 arrests and the recovery of over 80 stolen vehicles.

ARP funds used to install new drinking fountain at YMCA

Last week, a new water bottle filling fountain was installed at the Elwood YMCA. The fountain was purchased using funds allocated from the American Rescue Plan. The funds can be used to invest in infrastructure projects and organizations that serve local communities.
