Terry Coleman, director of Indiana State Parks, was presented with the Great Lakes Park Training Institute’s (GLPTI) highest honor last week, the Lawson Award.Coleman Named for Richard Lawson, a longtime GLPTI chair, the award is presented annually to individuals who have exemplified continued and significant contributions in the park and recreation profession/community for an extended time.

A RRESTS Mya Marie Rowland, 22, of Summitville, was arrested Friday, March 3 for violation of probation and possession of methamphetamine. Mark Todd Stocking, 51, of Alexandria, was arrested Saturday, March 4 for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .15 or more and operating a vehicle while intoxicated - endangerment.
