Frankton’s Emma Sperry earned first-team academic all-state honors from the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association.

NEW CASTLE – For 16 minutes, it seemed that Frankton would stay within striking distance in a Class 3A first-round sectional battle at Chrysler Fieldhouse last Wednesday night.At halftime, Frankton trailed only 21-18.
Frankton seniors Emma Sperry and Amaya Collins capped off strong seasons and stellar high school basketball careers by being named to the All-Central Indiana Conference team.Both Sperry and Collins joined the 1,000-point club this season in leading the Eagles to a 5-2 conference record, which was tied them with Alexandria for third place.
