The Elwood Panther varsity baseball team went 0-3 last week, including a pair of Central Indiana Conference defeats. Elwood’s biggest problem was producing at the plate.

Elwood’s varsity softball team had very little time to catch its breath last week, playing six games in six days. The Panthers started the week off with a 6-4 loss at Eastern last Monday.

GREENFIELD — Frankton’s varsity softball team capped off a very busy week by finishing with a 2-1 record in the Cougar Classic here on Saturday. The Eagles opened the classic with a 23-2, five inning rout over Warren Central.

MARION — Frankton seniors Bella Dean, Skylar Drake and Sydney Duncan made the most of their final Central Indiana Conference track and field meet, here last Thursday. The Eagle trio went home with a combined four first-place medals and a new meet record.
