Sallee powers Panthers past Jets

Elwood Call-Leader ANDERSON –– There's no mystery that when trying to deal with the Elwood Panthers, there must be a plan in place to defend seniors Hunter Sallee and Jayden Reese. During Wednesday's game against Anderson Preparatory Academy, the Jets found no answer for Sallee and even though foul trouble limited Reese's playing time, the rest of the team made up for it in a big way.

Tough week

Eagles rally past Monroe Central

PARKER CITY –– The Frankton Eagles packed their defense on Tuesday, and as a result, came home from here with a 57-51 victory over Monroe Central. The Eagles, who shot just 35% (18 of 55) from the field and 59% (13 of 22) from the charity stripe, were at their best in the fourth quarter.
