Elwood Call-Leader ANDERSON –– There's no mystery that when trying to deal with the Elwood Panthers, there must be a plan in place to defend seniors Hunter Sallee and Jayden Reese. During Wednesday's game against Anderson Preparatory Academy, the Jets found no answer for Sallee and even though foul trouble limited Reese's playing time, the rest of the team made up for it in a big way.
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. –– Sunday was a day of celebration for Indiana’s No. 2-ranked women’s basketball team. The Hoosiers defeated Purdue 83-60 inside a soldout Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall on senior day. The Hoosiers (26-1, 16-1 Big Ten) clinched a share of their first regular-seasonconference championship since 1983.

PARKER CITY –– The Frankton Eagles packed their defense on Tuesday, and as a result, came home from here with a 57-51 victory over Monroe Central. The Eagles, who shot just 35% (18 of 55) from the field and 59% (13 of 22) from the charity stripe, were at their best in the fourth quarter.
