Last Thursday, the Elwood Planning Commission approved two acres of the 17 acres owned by the Elwood Redevelopment Commission on the State Road 37 corridor for the hotel project the city has been working to attract. The proposed hotel will include 54 rooms, a conference room, and an indoor swimming pool.
