Ellis L.“Buddy” Buttler,  Jr. age 69, of Elwood, IN passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at his residence following an extended illness.

He was born in Elwood, IN on May 22, 1953, the son of Ellis and Alberta (Hughes) Buttler.

Buddy retired from Kings Systems of Noblesville after several years of service. He also enjoyed working for Joe St. Clair as a glass blower for many years. He attended Joy Christian Church of Elwood. He enjoyed visiting with his friends and especially his family. He will be sadly missed by all.

Buddy is survived by his loving mother, Alberta Buttler of Elwood, IN; a daughter, Dana Buttler and two sons, Mike (Rachel) Buttler and Danny Buttler all of Elwood, IN; 2 grandchildren, several greatgrandchildren; two sisters, Karen (John) Foor of Swayzee, IN, and Sue (Marty) Robison of Tipton, IN; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his father Buddy was preceded in death by his wife Judy (Tinch) Buttler passed away on Aug. 2, 2022; and a brother, Jeff Buttler.

A memorial service celebrating Buddy’s life will be scheduled at a later date at Joy Christian Church in Elwood.
