Allen Buster, age 68, of Anderson, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at Community Hospital in Anderson following recent health challenges. He was born in Albany, Kentucky on January 5, 1955, to the late Marion Buster and Irene (Brown) Buster. On May 10, 2009, Allen married Tammy (Casto) Buster and shared almost 14 years of marriage.

Allen was employed for several years as a fork truck driver for the Red Gold Distribution Center. He had a passion for woodworking, especially when it came to making wishing wells and Bible-holding crosses. Allen was an avid Nascar fan, and his favorite driver was Joey Logano; along with his nephews whom he watched race at Anderson Speedway. Allen enjoyed raising baby chickens, spoiling his two fur companions, Jazzy and Lily, and loved bluegrass and country music. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Allen is survived by his mother, Irene Buster; wife, Tammy Buster; five children, Jennifer Buster, Angie Buster, Ryan Buster, Cory (Brandi Hart) Buster, and Bryan Casto; seven siblings, Velta Gregory, Janice LaShure, Ronnie (Fiancée Deborah Evans) Buster, Barb (husband Dave) Burdette, Kathy Galbreath, Wanda Todd, and Shelia Buster; several grandchildren -including, Gracie Buster, Johnathan Buster, and Autumn Buster; several great-grandchildren including, Oaklynn Montgomery Buster; several nieces & nephews; and several special friends.

In addition to his father, Allen was preceded in death by his siblings, Jimmie Jones, Ralph Buster, and Leonard Buster, Family and friends are invited to visitation on Saturday, April 29, 2023, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm, at Dunnichay Funeral Home 1113 South Anderson Street Elwood, IN 46036.
