1947-2023
Peggy Louise Julian, age 75, of Frankton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at Bethany Pointe Health Campus. She was born in Elwood, on December 30, 1947, the daughter of the late Thomas and Ella Marie (Dickinson) Heath.
Peggy enjoyed singing (solos) and playing the accordion as she was growing up. She was a respiratory therapist at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital in Elwood for many years. During her career Peggy was named the employee of the year for Homedco, for her dedication in caring for the Dilley sextuplets in 1993. She was a faithful member of Frankton Christian Church, and enjoyed doing cross words, word searches, and playing cards (solitaire). Peggy was very close to her sister, Ann, and enjoyed having many adventures with her and her husband Dan. She had a deep love for her family and enjoyed caring for any of them when needed. Peggy will be greatly missed, and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
Peggy is survived by her two daughters, Kelly Mottweiler and Heather (husband Brian) Tinsley; four grandchildren, Darby Mottweiler, Elliott Mottweiler, Abigail Tinsley, and Kaitlyn Tinsley; sister, Ann (husband Dan) Jackson; brother, Tommy Joe (wife Francie) Heath; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Ella Heath.
Family and friends are invited to visitation from 4 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Harper & Dunnichay Funeral Home 305 East Sigler Street Frankton, IN 46044. A funeral service to honor and celebrate Peggy’s life will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at the funeral home with Rev. Roger Brooks officiating.
Private family burial will take place at K of P I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Frankton.
